We are located 15 km from the historical centre of Berlin. You can cycle, jog or take long walks through the surrounding area. Lake Müggelsee and Wilkendorf castle are well worth a visit.

location was terrible nothing at all no shops no taxis we came off at a station called burkstine we asked the station master if we could have a taxi there was no taxi or buses he said we had to walk so that what we did we walked along the motorway with our suitcases for about 45 min till we finally found the hotel in the middle of the wilds we had to catch the bus every morning and then hop on the train the journey was about an hour every morning and night the buses did not run very often which made it ten times worse so we spent a ?100 pounds just to travel to berlin every day

I asked for a non-smoking room, they were fully booked and put me in a smoking room, without telling me. I woke up one morning to that oh-so-gracious smell and went to the reception, which *then* told me that and found me a non-smoking room. I switched rooms and got down again to complain, for the lack of respect. After telling the recepcionist I thought that was a lack of respect, because they should've 1) told me what they were doing, 2) switched me asap without me asking for it. He disagreed (he didn't take my point, kept repeating "but it's ok now, right?") and when I said I still wanted to talk to the manager, he said "you just did", which I found odd, since he didn't reply when I asked him "are you the manager?". In short, the hotel is confortable, but has no respect for guests, specially if you are "ein ausl?nder". Also, don't be fooled, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, 20 minutes on a brisk pace to the next tram station.
