My stay in sparrenhorst was 3 nights, 4 days. First the good things :The hotel is located in very quiet and calm surroundings and has a nice swimming pool. But thats it they are the only good things i can list. The list of bad things is endless. To list a few: The staff was very unfriendly with the exception of a few in the "Cafe restaurant: in the hotel. As an example the cleaning lady first of all did a horrible job cleaning my room and when i requested her to change the glasses in the room which were left uncleaned she asked me to clean it myself as she is not going to clean it or change it. I was soo surprised and off course furious. The women at the reception : good for nothing , very nott willing to help - example: i asked the lady at the reception what is there to see around here , her reply was nothing .. and there was lots you could see around nunspeet. Room service, breakfast timings evrything is all very very business like : if you are going for a traning or frm your company its fine. But if you are planning to spend a weekend or relax there ,thing again as it can only stress you out. The hotel gave a [-----] about hospitability or making you comfortable or providing a good service.

The web page depicts a hotel that looks like a museum, wherein each room is almost a suite and every corner hides a Picasso. Don?t bee fooled, the main building looks very much like a student hall. The inner walls are made of bricks painted white and the corridors were the rooms are remember the opening of Maxwell Smart. I'd give a Pulitzer to the photographer that turned the 4x8 pool into the olimpic swimming pool tha one sees on the web. Our room (411) was rather small, the bathroom tiny and the furniture the same as in any other NH hotel. HAVING said that, the two restaurants are great. We had the "surprise" menu at the OINC! Which we found excellent in all courses. We had a drink in the ultra hip bar downstairs which was very lively. Staff was also nice. Tip: if you are booking a NH hotel try to book it from the web page in anyother country than the one where the hotel is. It is way cheaper. (We paid 89Eur)
