Mediocre

Good, but not my style of hotel

Well, I admit it, I was very lucky. Booked at another 4 star hotel nearby which, for overbooking reasons, sent me at this fab & brand new 5 stars. I booked a double standard room and received a suite. Two plasma televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the livingroom. But the hotel didn't have internet connection at all, and the SPA wasn't working, which are not light faults for a brand new 5 stars. I think they are currently working on that. This is a big hotel, placed in the middle of the city, designed in a '30s colonial style: black woods and white marbles... I felt it somehow heavy. But I love minimal design hotels, so I felt out of my world. Breakfast was good but not impressive. The lobby bar was good but not impressive. Well, overall I might really loved the bargain, but maybe not the hotel.
