2 BBQ's by the pool, not really enough for everyone staying at the hotel. Pool was quiet most of the time, not heated though so it was cold. They clean your room once a week and empty garbages and change towels every day. Employees were really nice and accomodatin g.. Read review

We stayed at Kahana Falls Feb 2009. We had a 2 bedroom, which was a nice size, it was connected to a studio room, which I was extremely glad we didn't get because it was TINY! And no view of anything at all. This one overlooked the pool and gardens, and had a tiny view of the ocean across the street (we were behind another hotel on the ocean). We got this through RCI, but were charged a $140 fee at check in, the employee didn't seem to know what it was for but I am assuming parking and internet, as most other hotels charge for those things. I was kind of annoyed we didn't know about this to begin with.
Rooms were air conditioned and well laid out, also there was a washer/dryer. We found quite a few tiny little ants in the bathroom and kitchen - they got into our Krispy Kremes so that was the end of those. Also found one little cockroach in the sink. I guess this is typical in Hawaii.
Pool area was really nice, waterfalls going into the pool, koi pond next to it, and a sand-bottomed hot tub. 2 BBQ's by the pool, not really enough for everyone staying at the hotel. LOVED the torches around the pool area. Pool was quiet most of the time, not heated though so it was cold.
They clean your room once a week and empty garbages and change towels every day.
