Dornoch Castle Hotel - Dornoch, United Kingdom 

We had three rooms in this hotel. One had a leaky ceiling with a view of the roof. One had no ventilation at all. One was okay. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and helped in any way they could. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed for one night as part of a long weekend break. It is a very old historic building in the heart of Dornoch and we found it a very pleasant place to stay. The room was average size but very clean and tidy with everything you would expect. The bathroom was very clean with a huge shower, plenty of towels and bathrobes also provided. The evening meal was amazing with 1st class service. It was very busy as there was a wedding party staying that day, but at no point were we made to feel less important. I wouldnt hesitate at booking again. Anybody that feels they need to complain about this beautiful and friendly hotel needs to spend a night at the famous Adelphi in Liverpool to bring them down to earth!
