The room was good, especially for the price (55 euros or so, I believe). Large enough room for 2 of us with a mini bar we were never charged for, despite raiding it night after night following full days of beer drinking. Big breakfasts in the morning, though we didn't take full advantage of it. Nice staff. No AC so on the rare occassion it was hot in Munich we were dying in our room, but it cooled down after a day or two and the temp wasn't too bad. On a quiet street but within walking distance of the Marienplatz and English Garden (if you're a walker, otherwise one might recommend a cab to the city center). I left a box of my stuff there (items collected over 2 months of travel) and they were kind enough to mail it back to my parents house in the US so I could get it when we got home. I had left it sitting in the lobby upon check out and thought it was gone for sure, so that was a very nice surprise! They charged me about $13 US too, which is far less than I'd expected to be charged since I'd found it costs quite a bit to mail things back home. It took a while, but we were grateful to have our items recovered. All in all the hotel was fine for 2 budget travellers in their mid-20's.
