Business brought me to Kuantan for about three weeks, and thankfully Swiss Gardens made it a pleasant trip, and gave me a bit of a home away from home. The front desk staff makes an effort to remember your name, as well as the basic details of your trip. It's nice to return each day to a smile and a friendly greating. The food is excellent, and the buffet dinner's on weekend nights do not disappoint. The rooms are nice, and spacious. Additionally, the rooms are tastefully decorated with natural / earth tones, and hard wood floors. If there was a negative, it'd be the distance the hotel is from city center. Expect to pay around $8 USD for each trip into town, and around $6.50 USD coming back.
