Triton Hotel - , Greece 

We have just returned from a week at the small but lovely hotel Triton in Kos Town. The Triton is a super hotel with a very friendly family feel and my wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. The hotel has a fantastic postition on the sea front which makes up for it's lack of a swimming pool and is central to all the towns amenities. The hotel is modern and very clean (recently refurbed) and the bedrooms have most of the amenities one would expect to find ie; Mini bar, TV, Telephone and most importantly air conditioning which was a god-send. Only one small critique was a lack of draw space in the bedroom. The food was excellant and plentiful the hotel restuarant specialises in Italian style cooking and most of the dishes on offer are of this cuisine. The half-board menu is not vast and a stay of more than a week may become a tad repetitious. On the whole a very enjoyable stay despite the earthquake and would recommend this hotel to anybody.

We stayed in Triton at the beginning and end of our island hopping vacation in the Dodecanese. It's a few minute's walk from the hydrofoil jetty and a few more minutes from the jetty for the other boats. The rooms are very clean, modern and decorated in light colours. You have to sleep with the windows closed because of the noise of the road but the windows are sound proof and there's good air con in the rooms. It's a renovated hotel but the building is still noisy on the inside :-) We noticed very well the one night we had a room on the first floor close to the stairs and lifts. It is very clean and modern and ideally situated. Good value for money.
