Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel details: The Phaethon Beach Club Hotel is situated on the mythical Paphian coast, this comfortable hotel offers an excellent range of facilities. It is located about 3 km from Paphos' picturesque harbor and some 15 km from Paphos airport.

Paphos is the capital of the west and rich in history. The resort town has as its focal point a charming fishing harbor by Paphos Fort. It is lined with open-air cafes and tavernas that serve menus including the day's catch.

At the hotel there are a number of activities and facilities. These include Chariots night club, children's pool, archery, air riffling and shooting, atelier for painting, basketball court, volleyball court and beach volleyball. There is also a flat 5-ring bowling green and short mat bowls, badminton court, card room for bridge players, a children's club with special animation for children, animation programmes day and night and a dance floor for dancing groups.

The hotel was very clean at all times, the food was good with a good selection the website advises that it makes english breakfast daily but dont expect it to be anything like a fry up in the uk. The pool is good but often overcrowded and children dominating it and it closes very early!! The rooms were basic but clean and practical, it does not have sky tv only sky news and the beds were like sleeping on concrete!! The staff are mainly friendly except the odd one!! Its location is a distance from any shops etc but handy for the water park, the bus service is very good and cheap!! The beach is non existent and i certinaly wouldnt swin in the sea there!! The main problem is the so called entertainment, in truth its a disgrace, its all done by the amination team who are based at site and lead by someone who we could never understand as his english was so bad, the entertainement was beyond belief and the bingo i can only describe as farsical!! We had to go to the main resort due to the entertainment being so bad!! Its entertainemnt is not even good for kids!! I would never return to this hotel until the entertainment is totally changed, i have never read a book until this holiday but read four at night!!! For the cost of this holiday i would not return, in summary the food is good, all areas very clean, poor location and entertainement that is awful!!
