we stayed here for a couple of nights on our travels around crete,they have just been fully decorated and are really beautiful infact we were the first to stay in one of the new apartments. we were right on the sea front on the second floor so we had fab views,every thing was brand new, very classy a modern twist with greek touches. We spent a good few hours in Hemmingways cocktail bar right on the harbour a few mins walk away that was very romantic and the cocktails are great especially the mojitos!! and had a super meal of fresh fish and salad right next door. we would go back and stay at the porto sissi again we payed 90euro a night but it is lovely. most of rooms had either Germans or Dutch in them so it was nice and quiet and the sunsets were stunning. we were lucky to be in the brand new rooms and would recomend them to any one.

We paid over 110 Euros a night for an apartment in Porto Sisi apartments - which was quite expensive for what we got. The best part of the property is that it is on the seawall, and the views from the terrace were beautiful. The pool was small and parts of the vinyl liner were peeling. The apartment was basic - no amenities other than two small chips of soap for the bathroom. The kitchen was crudely outfitted, no paper towels or dishtowels, no dishsoap, etc. and the style of the apartment was very rustic. Management did nothing to provide any type of warmth or amenities. I would have felt OK about staying in this place for half of what we paid, but we had to pay up front from the states before getting to Greece, so we didn't see what we were paying for. As another reviewer wrote, the pictures on the net were very skillfully taken.
