The restaurant and pizzeria of “Shine” offer typical dishes of traditional Italian cuisine, with specialties of fish and meat such as homemade noodles with aubergines, courgettes, peas and crabmeat or passatelli (kind of small dumpling) with yellow boletus and typical sausages, veal or beef steak or mixed grill. “Shine” prepares a wonderful pizza from a wood burning stove. Throughout the year you are offered the specialties of the famous truffle in four different varieties. The white truffle cut in very thin slices on toast from a wood burning stove, egg noodles, rice and polenta (corn pie), white brown truffle (bianchetto), black summer truffle and black noble truffle served with entrées such as scrambled eggs or Italian pancake or radicchio salad with melted cheese from a wood burning stove or very fine cut meat salad (carpaccio). Then savoury first main dishes with truffles such as Strigoli in truffle sauce (a kind of noodle in truffle sauce) or Chitarrine (a kind of Sicilian noodle cooked the Norcia way, (Norcia, the famous truffle town in near Umbria) followed by excellent second main dishes such as grilled fillet steaks in puff paste and cutlets with melted cheese.
