This is the second time we've used Logis De France chain of family run hotels. We are very impressed with them, this was a 3 chimney,2 star hotel . The standards are very high, exceptionally clean, with very comfortable rooms and plenty of hot water. The host Nadine speaks very good english and is very helpful.
The location is a five minute drive outside Arromanche, which is well served with local eateries,it is also an ideal location for visiting all the D-Day related sites. Most of the other guests at the hotel were local French people, so something to be said for the high standards.

We stayed in a family room for 4 nights on our way back from our main holiday in Brittany - wanting to visit some World War 2 Museums for our daughters year 6 project.
The Hotel owner, Nadine was really kind and helpful and our children (7, and 10) loved staying at the Hotel, which was very clean and bright, with a large garden and games chest in the reception area to fill in those "wind down" periods.
A good base also to tour Bayeaux and all of the towns and villages along the coast. Nadine was able to give us lots and lots of information on where to go and what to do, including tips on the best local markets, good restaurants and popular childrens attractions. We would definately visit the Hotel again, and Normandy was a great surprise, with so much to do for young and old. Great for a long weekend!
