We stayed four nights 27 -30 Sept 2007.
Good location. The only complaint I have about the hotel is the TV. yes they had mulitlingual channles BUT only two in English - CNN and BBC World news. I have stayed in other european hotels that have more channles in english. I have no complaints about the staffi n the hotel as they were extremely helpful. We had room 502.
Before we went I did my research and printed off (and took with me) information on Turin, sightseeing, places to eat and of course shopping. All lived to what people had written.
One thing I must stress TURIN is a walking city so I advise to pack a pair of trainers or walking shoes.
I was really put off from going to Turin because of the comments that had been written esepcially about the seedy streets and night workers. BUT Turin was an excellent short break. We saw no street walkers but saw some young boys who looked liked they were planning the 'newspaper scam' on some tourist. But giving the looks of the tourist they were well aware of the scam they plotting.

I've stayed there for three nights and my overall impression was very positive.
First of all great location, next to the train station and within easy walk to many of the major attractions. Also convenient for public transport. Despite the central location, no traffic noise (well, my room opened to a side street). However the hotel itself is quite acoustic, I could hear noises from the rooms left, right and above mine.
Gentle and smiling staff at the reception, speaking English.
A comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in the continental breakfast buffet, although the choice of food was rather limited and did not vary day to day. The breakfast was reasonable but every day the same.
I liked the nice furniture in the bedroom, but again it was rather limited, no drawers. Small TV with limited selection of channels (about 10) but including BBC and CNN (the only channels in English other than payTV, I think).
Large bathroom, large power shower (but the shower doors kept opening - had to hold them all the time). Bathroom clean but not very clean. I've noticed some other rooms had bathtubs instead of showers, lucky me. Other than that a hair-dryer, heating rails, a bidet and a large mirror are to be found in the bathroom.
Tea and coffee tray and kettle, which is not usual for Italian hotels, but they would not replenish the supply beyond the first day, so bring your own tea.
Other extras included: air-conditioning, balcony, carpet (watch out if you're allergic), broken radio, safe deposit box, minibar with some free space. The minibar did not have the prices displayed. The room had a couple of lights, including two convenient night-lights. The bulb in one of the lights was broken but I did not mind it.
The hotel advertises WIFI in its bedrooms, although in reality they only have wired and charge 10 EURO /day for Internet. I don't see how such price can be reasonably justified these days other than an intended rip-off.
Overall, I enjoyed the stay. The only thing that put me off a bit was the high tag of the Internet connection price, which by my standards should be included in the room price.
