  • The entire staff was wonderful, especially the concierge, who went above and beyond to ensure that everything that I had planned for the weekend went smoothly, and made wonderful dinner and transportation suggestions and reservations for us. There were attendants ready to guide you to open chairs and umbrellas, setting up towels on the chairs for you. There is also food and beverage service to the beach, as well as water with lemon provided for guests free of charge on the beach. The beach is great for walking by the water, especially around low tide, and even the shelly part (farther away from the water) wasn't that bad. Didn't go to the pool - the beach was too nice, and our stay was too short. We dined at the resort's restaurant, Sale e Pepe, and while not cheap (probably not somewhere you want to plan on eating every night you're there), it was great food with great service and a wonderful view. There is the opportunity to have a quiet, romantic dinner there at a semi-private table, but there are also places for larger family-sized groups. Overall the restaurant was pleasantly quiet. If that's what you want, you can have the same menu for lunch at Sale e Pepe and sit on the terrace with a great view. Also recommended for a more casual, outdoor dinner with a great on-the-water location and sunset views.. Read review

  • The staff members are exceptionally friendly, and we especially enjoyed Gail Ann, who took care of us on the beach with great care. The kitchen offered the conveniences of home and included a microwave, full-size oven and stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffe pot (albeit a small one), glassware, pots/pans, utensils and plenty of storage space. Complimentary bottles of water were left by the bedside every night - - along with wrapped sqaures of chocolate. We had our breakfast every morning on the balcony which offered a pleasing view of the Gulf and enjoyed our coffee while reading through the complimentary copies of the USA Today and NY Times that were waiting by the door every morning. I found that the straight-line-too-close-together lounges detracted from the beach experience, but the water was awesome and the white sand beach was beautiful. We took our beach bag with us and snacked on crackers, peanuts & the sort and only ordered lunch twice (both times the food arrived promptly and was good. The beach would be better if they placed families in one area and those guests who preferred some peace and quiet in another.. Read review

  • You need to find Carmichael, the bartender by the pool and ask him to fix one. This is an outstanding drink to sip by the beach as you lay in the beach chair watching the surf, and dolphins frolic in the water. I would recommend, they add a pasta dish to the room service menu.. Read review

  • The room was magnificient with area for sitting and separate area for King-size bed sleeping. The suite has a kitchenette and large/spacious bathroom with separate shower / bath for whatever your needs. $39 Super 8 Hotel, the staff made ALL the difference. Grant it, the hotel is a boardwalk away from the beach, but the service-staf was magnificent.. Read review
