Avanti Holiday Village - Paphos, Cyprus 

We arrived at the Avanti Village in the early hours after a delayed flight and was given a map, key and air conditioning control and was told to find our own way to the apartment by a lovely old chap in reception. After a little confusion in the dark we found our room and after being met by a cockroach we settled our tired children down for the night. We had a room near to the pool which was great and when we walked up to it in the morning it was like finding our own little paradise. The place was spotlessly clean (which goes for the whole of pahos) and the pool the warmest i've ever been in. The rooms were great for us and two children (10+11) and the maid was lovely and made our apartment gleeming for when we returned each day. We have never been to Cyprus before but we shall definately be returning as a week was nowhere near long enough. The place was very clean and the people very friendly all over. Kids loved the water park which was in walking distance and the harbour and boat trips were great. Thankyou Thomas Cook for a great late deals and the Avanti Village for a truly memorable holiday.

Have just returned from the Avanti Village at the weekend and i have to say it is a perfect place for a family holiday. We arrived late at night and had to more a less find our apartment in the dark, but after a few wrong turns we got there. Lovely apartment very spacious and clean and the maid service was excellent every day. Plenty of beds around the pool and there was always some free ones no matter what time you got up to get one. Friendly staff doing the kids club BB was a big hit with the kids. Pool was moslty clean but after saying to a member of staff that there was some dirt in it they were out within minutes to clean up. Two supermarkers close by and they bus to the bay area is only a 5 minute walk away or you can walk in 15 mins if you have the energy in the hot sun!! Overall a great place for a holiday great staff and excellent facilities i am booking to go back again next year and i never go back to the same place again!!
