The staff are very cooperative and the service is excellent. The hotel has a well equipped gym and health club. The hotel has many restaurants and the chineese one, golden dragon is great. Although we booked a standard room they apgraded us to the next level which was great, the renovated rooms are beautiful. But i must say that overall the building has some renovation work to be done and also the pool tiles, some of which is coming out, which i said will be replaced in april, i think by then it will be the best place to stay in colombo.. The welcome drink at the reception lounge could do with less sugar. The staff very friendly and were only too pleased to help us with any queries or requests. The location of the hotel enabled us to take long seafront walks which was essential to spend the calories consumed during our stay. On the day of the checkout the computer went down but the staff took it in their stride to process the check out very calmly, although some guests were obviously very agitated at this experience. Some floors and the pool were still undergoing renovation.. Read review

We stayed here for 1 night - 24th December in an executive sea facing suite , included in our deal was a gala Christmas eve dinner. However my husband enjoyed the food and thought it to be excellent. Staff were very conciderate of my needs both to get to my room as quickly as possible and later when i was able to eat a little -offer me tea and toast. The room was clean and comfortable with fresh bed linen and towels. It wasnt one of their refurbished suites but served its purpose.. Read review
