We stayed in this hotel for two nights only because the hotel that we were supposed to stay in, Los Frailes, had a problem with our reservation. Santander only had two nights available out of five, so that's what we stayed, even though we would have stayed the entire time if available. Santander is a large hotel on the docks, within walking distance to everything in town. The staff was very nice. The man who took us to our room was extremely helpful and friendly, and gave us many suggestions on what to see and do in Havana. The staff at the bar were also great, and we were treated to a free welcome drink. The room was huge and had high ceilings, although it was a bit stinky. The area was quiet, and we enjoyed our short stay there. I would recommend it.
