Spent last night at St. Regis. They have done some nice upgrading there. Our king room was very chic and clean. Everyone was very helpful and anxious to serve us. I would stay here again..to fellow Bluegreen owners..don't waste 2000 pts to stay here. I haggeled them down to $143.00 on the phone. We also had a problem with the A/C or lack of A/C. We were on the second floor and there was none. We opened window and it was a cool night. I am overlooking that only because I think this hotel is stuggling, and I would hate to see it close because of stiff competition of MGM GRAND etc. It has its own charm.

I am a traveler of most hotels around the country, 20 years and I have to say that I have never experienced, such as this. Overall the hotel is a diamond in the ruff, beautiful, staff was great, Front Desk is "AWSOME"! Mrs Carol and staff is a one of a kind...! But then came Mrs. Shirley Johnson, overbearing, controling, rude, unprofessional and obvious that she is unaware of how to treat a guest. Just not very customer service oriented at all. For this property to fly the World Hotels flag that I am a frequent,of its properties, I was very disappointed. I saw this person destroy a wedding party, and make the guest feel very unwelcome. She obviously had no idea of who was in her mist and watching.Business men and women from all of Michigan, and the experience that I have to share will not be a pleasant one, I will never refer anyone to stay at this hotel.....Unless Mrs Shirley Johnson is not a part of it....World Hotels if aware would not have there one of a kind name flying above such a place!!!!!!
