Grand Hotel La Croisette - Cannes, France 

We stayed at the Le Grand Hotel for 4 nights in June. The hotel is wonderful, and is a real bargain compared to similar properties on La Croisette. The hotel and rooms are exactly the same as shown on the website. The furniture is kind of retro modern, but considering the view from the sea view room balconies it is a real bargain. The buffet breakfast was included in our rate. It is at best OK, and is the main reason to rate the hotel a 4. The hot food was cold each of the 4 mornings. The cereal offered was boxes of Kellogg’s, (really strange for France), but the fruit and other offering were fine. We saw very few people in the restaurant and with all the great restaurants within easy walking distance it is no wonder. Driving to the hotel is a bit tricky if you enter the address into your GPS. You can not enter the hotel from La Croisette. You must enter through a gate in the back. Be careful of all the one way streets.

Superb hotel with fantastic bedrooms - huge with wonderful views of the sea and overlooking the hotels huge gardens. i understand that they are redoing their beach and look forward to trying that later in the year. Restaurant was great value for money and all the staff were great, very friendly and the cleanliness was top across the hotel. Small hotel with great location and have booked to go back in September.
