We stayed at L'Hologie hotel , in transit, on our way home from Cote d'Azure. We booked this hotel, on line, on basis of price and accessibility to the Autoroute. We had no problem finding the hotel and were surprised to be welcomed in English. After a speedy booking in, the proprietor took us to our room. She obviously was very proud of her standards as she personally showed us all the facilities available. We were blinded with the whiteness and cleanliness of the bathroom. We requested a menu for our dinner and chose the "soup of the day" and Pave Beef Steaks. As we ate our soup we saw our steaks being cooked on a vertical grill. Needless to say the meal was superb, the restaurant was quite full with local persons. After a restful night we had our breakfast. This was little disappointing in that it was presented on a tray to our table comprising bread, butter and strawberry and apricot jams. A boiled egg, cheese or ham/meat alternative would have been more appreciated . Needless to say it was enjoyed and the tray was cleared.
The only criticisms were the breakfast limitations and smoking allowed in the restaurant. Apart from this we cannot explain how this little gem only has a two star rating.
