Fortunately we found this brand new hotel within (somewhat lengthy) walking distance of the airport. Our family of five had about had it after 6 hours in the Shreveport airport trying to get American to get us to San Diego. The beds are comfortable and the room fairly spacious. The only downside is that there are no good restaurants nearby, and the neighborhood does not appear to be the nicest.. Read review

This is a clean and quiet place to stay with everything you would expect at an HI Express. This hotel's location is still pretty vacant and rural and thus safe. Although it has recently opened, I could already see signs of wear and tear (marks on the walls, a spot where someone had killed a bug and no one had wiped off the splatter, dents in the furniture).. Read review
