Ocean Tower Flat - Fortaleza, Brazil     

ocean towers suites from feb 19th to March 4 2008. It was a great place to stay, i had a small kitchen where i cooked specialites such as lobster tails and shrimp from the market across the street...i also one evening bought shrimp and took it to the beach where many locals and couples gather and they cook for you in front of you the shrimp and serve it to you for a very small amount of money of course and beer that come in these large coolers and is very nice....the people at the hotel were very friendly spoke english also and where always ready to assist you with anything ....one day after an afternoon of shopping in the market ...many of those and getting great bargains i asked to leave all my shopping at the desk ...i must admit they were a little surprise i am not sure people are trusted as they should but anyways they kept it and of course all of my shopping was intact....small things like that are nice. coffee in the morning was included so i went across to another hotel for that and people were friendly and very clean places....the fruit was unreal and the juices also .....the water used in front of me was bottled added to the fruit juice...unreal and one of the cheapest suites around beira mar....thank you and i shall return ....i remember i was alone and i was cautions no jewellery no purses but i felt very secure

This hotel is in the wrong location for starters. If you are staying in this beautiful city then choose a hotel whose address on Av. Beira Mar is closer to 2500 than 4620. It is right in front or the small fish market in a corner of the beach with no frontal views for the sea. The block itself is in serious need of upgrading and the apartment we were in was simply awful. The decor was so old, the TV didn't pick up a signal, there were burn marks on the kitchen tops etc.... I have stayed in better kept bed sits when I was young and had hair !!! Simply put there is much better value available in better locations along the beach.
