Next to the Lobby, the Gallery is a stunning area with a series of arches which, when seen from outside, recall a Roman aqueduct.

A short distance from The Lake Resort, there are several walks that are worth your while.At 2 minutes of distance the Cerro da Vila Museum to discover the legacy of the Roman period and the History of Portugal.
6 golf courses near the hotel, less than 5 minute’s drive away.
Many different water sports are offered. At the marina you can choose boat trips or fishing. Vilamoura is known for its water sports: parasailing, kite surfing, scuba diving, the choice is yours.
Several events are held in Vilamoura throughout the year, such as the Boat Show, Regattas, Show Jumping events, among others.
Other infrastructures available in Vilamoura include bowling, a tennis club, sports center and a riding school.
Parque Ambiental de Vilamoura (Environmental Park), a 200 hectare private conservation site protecting wetlands.

This is our 3rd visit in a row to the Lake Resort Hotel. Our young son now 7 adores it, the Koala club is definitely geered up for children with an great activity programme and fabulous staff. The safety aspect also appeals to us, you can watch your children as they play in the Koala club, they are very safe. The staff have been fantastic on both our 2 previous visits both to ourselves and our son and we are so looking forward to going back. The apartments are just wonderful, very spacious and very clean and a fabulous huge bed. All in al we work on the theory, if your children are happy then you are going to be and out little boy just loves it at the Lake Resort Hotel.

We have just returned from the Lake Resort for the 3rd time. Everything was great as usual.
We had a third floor garden view which we could see the sea from our balcony. The room was well furnished and kept very clean at all times. Our only comment would be that the bathroom is very small and the shower area was inclined to wet the rest of the bathroom.
The breakfasts are excellent - buffet style and everything is there - even champagne!!!
We only ate at lunch times in the hotel as we found the food very expense so we went to the Marina restaurants to eat in the evenings.
We shall be going back next year!!!
