Good quality rooms, very large. I really like the power shower! Wireless internet did not work in my room, but I got a cable without any problems (free of charge) and it worked just fine for me. The hotel was just taken over by Golden Tulip during my stay (but still everything showed as NH)

Literally just off Avendia Paulista, this hotel wins for its fantastic location. The museum of modern art, fashion boutiques and a great cinema are all within a couple of minutes walking distance. Staff are very welcoming and speak good English and the breakfast was moreish. As mentioned by other reviewers, the rooms are enormous although the decor made me feel like I had been transported back to the 80s and the furniture seemed to have had its fair share of wear and tear! The only problem I had was with the jacuzzi bath which deposited some gritty gunk in the water and they weren't very generous with the towels. Overall though we had a very relaxing stay and the location ensured we felt very safe.
