Check in / front desk
10.0
I was here for four nights the end of May 2008. The service was excellent and the staff is friendly- they remember your name. The room is typical of the newer Spanish hotels. I booked directly with the hotel and think I got the best price- about $100 U.S. including taxes.
I did not partake of the breakfast buffet but went instead to Sanborns that is only about two blocks away.
It is very well located if you're going to visit the many museums in Puebla. Don't miss the Museo Amparo and the Santo Domingo church. On the north side of the Zocolo I had tacos al pastor at Taqueria Los Angles- the best I've ever had. 26 pesos for two tacos and a huge lemonade (the small size).
I really recommend this hotel and would return. I'm a Spanish speaker but I assume the staff speaks English- a must at this level of Mexican tourism.I was never charged for Internet use and the front desk made a couple of arrangements for me..
