Location, location, location. We were at this hotel for 2 nights We were near one of the main enterances into the city. We had a room on the 3rd floor facing the garden as requested and a great view from our window of the countryside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and large and good water pressure for the shower. The breakfast was great. It has a small car parking area which we were able to leave our car there for the 2 days as we didn't go anywhere except into town. They apparently have a welcome dinner of pizza and wine for new guests which we didn't find out about till after the fact. Would of loved some of that homemade pizza. Would stay here again.

This hotel is charming and its staff are wonderful, kind and considerate people. Breakfast was a delightful experience. The accommodations are simple, but clean and utilitarian, and well worth the reasonable rates charged. Two words of caution. (1)The hotel is on a busy street that must be walked along and traversed to climb the several steps to the town. It is not recommended for those with any walking limitations, unless you plan to use a car to go up and down to the town. (2) Don't arrive before 3 p.m. since there is no onsite office staffing earlier in the day.
