We stayed in a "Superior King"(We thought it was a funny name until we saw it) room with an amazing balcony, a fireplace and a super comfy bed. In fact, it was so good that we decided to forgo continuing down to Newport and stay 2 more nights at The Surftides. A sweet young girl named Aria was so amazing and helped us make this happen, with a room change, because it was almost completely booked up. We got lucky because our new room was just as fantastic. Great staff, great rooms, and a great time with our "neighbors" from the hotel cooking smores in the courtyard! We don't have to worry about changing rooms next year because we've already booked a week at The Surftides for our 2nd anniversary next June. Views are excellent and we liked the new ipod docking station/alarm clock as well as the nice tv. In addition the Surftides Hotel is wonderful, the sea agates provide us free souvenirs to take home and the beach in front of this resort is awesome. Staff is always helpful, the rooms are very spacious and clean, the bathtub is very comfortable. . Read review

Courteous, friendly and very accommodating is how I'd describe the staff at the Surftides Hotel in Lincoln City, OR. The beds, pillows and linens are of very nice quality so our sleep was great. The pool was perfect for our kids and family. There are bike rentals & DVDs available from the front desk. They have a great court yard where we could roast s'mores (kits available at the front desk but we brought our own fixins).. Read review

We had looked at one room which they rated as partial ocean view and it was OK but not great, we were going to check in but someone else was checking in and we wanted to hit the outlet mall before they closed so decided to come back. Went and checked out several other hotels and checked their walk in and AAA rates. I asked if the end rooms might be also considered partial ocean view and she said yes and gave us the key to check one out. We had a fabulous view all the way up the coast and also a view straight out from the sliding glass door. Had windows going 2 directions. We could not see south, but the view to the north more than made up for it. We checked out the indoor pool and opted for the spa as it had been very windy and we were cold after walking around the Outlet Mall. The next morning we decided to add another night as we were so enjoying the views and the room. Granted the window treatments were not the most up to date, but the duvet, pillows and other room features were beautiful.. Read review
