Awful place to stay we went all inclusive and had the same food everyday for a week. Pool is not cleaned often and rooms and basic if that. Even though its near the beach, its better to stay somewhere and there are many cheaper and better hotels nearby.

Where do I start...? We arrived on the first night - the balcony door wouldn't open and the air conditioning was not working. I complained and a guy came up about 20 mins later. He fixed the door but said the air con is turned off as if he was suprised we didn't know. When asked why his English vocab mysteriously dissapeared. It was so stuffy in the room (we tried opening the balcony but the resident flock of seagulls which seem to swarm the hotel were making such a racket) that we asked to move rooms. The reception staff said the air con should be working but it still didnt in the new room. I complained a futher 4 times to the reception staff during out stay and even tried asking for a fan to no avail. It wasn't until day 4 that I was able to borrow the reception's own fan. Air con was the main reason for staying at this hotel. The beds were hard & uncomfortable with only one pillow. We were woken up a couple of times at 7-8am by cleaning staff in the surrounding rooms dragging furniture around the tiled floors (why, I don't know). We had B&B. The breakfast was very average and repetitive. Bread, croissants, corn flakes or puffed rice balls, watery scrambled eggs, beans, rice and chopped up frankfurters, a bit of salad, a tray of 1 type of cheap cheese and 1 type of cheap ham and bowls of very watered down jam. Even the 'juice' was so watered down it tasted like very weak squash. They did have pancakes and omelettes cooked fresh but not throughout the whole service for some reason. The couple of days we got up early (for excursions) the selection was literally just bread, criossants and jam. There was an unbeleivably inconsiderate 'entertainment' team, basically made up of 4 or 5 20 year old guys who seem to use the hotel and poolside as a place to play football, check out girls in bikinis, blare awful eurodance music and dance around with eachother. They did eventually turn the music down on the 4th or 5th day, but still regularly blared it throughout the day for their numerous 'aquarobics' or Butlins style dance routines around the pool. This is about as far from relaxing as it gets. The pool went from a normal clear blue to a very, very murky green overnight on day 3 - it looks like they'd tipped half a ton of chemicals in it. I asked a staff member why the water was green, to be told "it is in relation to the sun - when the sun is bright the waters blue, when its cloudy like to day, its green." I have never heard such rubbish!! Only 2 or 3 people dared swim in it for the whole day. It did return to its usual clear blue by the next day but we lost a day of 'relaxing' by the noisy green pool. Not only was it noisy, but frequently we got wafts of a disgusting sewage smell around the pool, obviously coming from drains around or outside the hotel. There are 2 little shops on the bottom floor as you come out of the lifts and walk the the pool or restaurants. It was like walking through a souk each time you went through - the guys in the shop on the left hassle you to 'come into their shop - why not, why not, come on'. This is not what you expect inside the hotel. In the lifts, they advertise a 'Moroccan patisserie' service - you ring your order through to reception and they deliver some very delicious looking fresh cakes, biscuits and pastries. It took so much hassle to buy some - ! ordered once at reception and nothing ever came, I ordered again at reception and was told to go to speak to the restaurant manager, I spoke to him and was told to go back the next day which I did (and ended up standing around in the middle of the restaurant for 15 mins). Eventually we opened the box to find some extremely naff, greasy biscuits which looked like they may well have been leftovers from the dinner service. The photos in the lift are nothing like what you get - we left them for the cleaning staff. We'd have been better off finding patisserie in town. There seems to be a photographer snapping away at around the hotel - at the pool, walking through the hotel in the evening, in the bar, they just dont give up. They charge about ?6 per photo. We did actually give in and bought two snaps. I was told I'd be invoiced upon checkout. By the time check out came (days later) we'd completely forgotten about it. When we checked out, the woman on reception just took our key and carried on barking something to a member of staff in Arabic without saying a word to us. I thought she could have at least asked us if we enjoyed our stay. Anyway, a couple of hours later we were sat in the airport having a drink when a member of the airport staff came up and said there was a man outside demanding 160 dirhams from us. He must have driven the 25 minutes from the hotel for this money! We'd spent all our currenncy by this point but luckily still had some sterling on us - we looked like we were paying some kind of customs fine in the middle of the airport, all because of the hotel's poor service on checkout. The staff were overall quite friendly, and the pool was great when it didnt stink/wasn't green/wasn't surrounded by flying footballs/aerobics/noise and the rooms were quite clean. However, I really reccomend you avoid this hotel at all costs. In fact, I reccomend go to Essaouria instead - its 1000 times nicer than Agadir (better beach, shops, more culture - a great relaxed Moroccan vibe as oppose to the bland, newly built Agadir).
