Studio 6 San Antonio Six Flags - San Antonio, USA 

Good option for extended stay on a budget.

The room we had was clean and cheerful compared to other extended stay places we looked at. S/O smokes, so obviously smelled of smoke, but real windows so could ventilate the room easily and safely. Parking is right in front of your room so felt safe here. <br>Our room had two queen beds so no sofa but the King room does have a loveseat to relax on. Both of these larger rooms are located at the ends of the buildings so the other guests don&#39;t walk past your windows/door and the room was quiet. <br>Very basic accommodations - comfy beds, full sized refrigerator, stove top and microwave oven. Pans and dishes for two are provided and housekeeping is provided once or twice a week. Clean and spacious bathroom. Friendly/helpful front desk staff was a major plus.<br><br>We were there for two months while our home was remodeled and although the accommodations were basic, they were adequate and the price was the best we could find in the area (NW San Antonio.) <br><br>There are a LOT of very good restaurants along I-10 between Wurzbach and DeZavala in all price ranges. Steaks - Saltgrass Steakhouse; Mexican - Papasitos, Mama Margie&#39;s, Alamo Cafe; Deli - Jason&#39;s; also Macaroni Grill, Chili&#39;s, Whataburger, Bill Miller Barbeque, McDonald&#39;s, TGI Friday&#39;s, IHOP, Zio&#39;s Italian, County Line Barbecue and Sea Island Shrimp House. Best Pizza is Papa John&#39;s and they deliver.<br><br>Large Wal Mart, Sam&#39;s and Costco close by and fantastic HEB grocery store at DeZavala and I-10.<br><br>I recommend that when you call for reservations you call the actual Studio6 front desk directly (210 691-0121) and ask for a room on the &quot;inside&quot; near the office. We were told that it was safest, although the whole place is very well lit and we didn&#39;t feel any danger. and in our two months, there were no break-ins the whole time (for what it&#39;s worth.) <br><br>If you want to spend your money on something besides where you sleep, I recommend this Studio 6. If you are more interested in the decor and swankiness of your accommodations, there are lots of other places in this area, but they are much, much more expensive and no safer.<br><br>I give this place a very high five stars for value and our stay was very pleasant.
