Club Hotel Pineta - Marmaris, Turkey     

On arrival at Club Pineta it was obvious that there was no room available for myself and my bestfriend! We paid for a room with two single beds and a balkoni but were given a closet cupboard with one double bed which was broken and the room was of extremely poor standard. We complained to reception who did not seem bothered but guaranteed us a new room in 24 hours, which we were given. Our new room had two major ceiling leeks, in the bathroom, one resulting in the ceiling coming down and a pervie technical services man fixing it, who tried it on with me, frankly I would not let anyone touch me in places he tried too! Whilst there 4 breakings took place in the hotel, which was very scarey and the hotel manger refused to call the police (I wonder why .....). The staff were generally rude and not very friendly. I would say most of the staff members were under the age of 25 and spoke bad english when it suited them! The food was discusting and we ended up eating out every night which was very dissapointing seems as we paid for an "all inclusive" holiday! If you like brusselsprout curry, cauliflower curry and left over chicken then you will love Club Pineta for the food. I have been on lots of all inclusive holidays before and I have never stayed in such a limited hotel as Club Pineta. For example drinks, which consisted of flat coke, flat fanta, local watered down vodka, raki and gin and apparently wine but when I asked for a glass of wine none of the bar staff understood what I was asking for! As for a minibar in your room as stated on the internet, well if you call an empty 1970's fridge a minibar and when I mentioned this to reception they just said "sorry all the rooms are like it". I would like to give any readers a word of advice, cancel if you can and don't trust the website as it is extremely desieving! trust me. In summary I would say the hotel is more like a 2 star not 4 and I would not let my dog stay there. I WILL NEVER STAY AT CLUB PINETA AGAIN EVEN IF IT WAS OFFERED AS A FREE HOLIDAY!

First time holiday in Turkey stayed all inclusive at the Pineta club, the area was lovely but the hotel was crap!!!, 3 things stand out. 1. Robbery was a daily occurence.2. The bathrooms were mouldy and doors rotten, the showers were broken( my first DIY job on day one) 3. Repetitive food. Chips,Pizza,chicken, Chips,Pizza,Chicken, and so on and on!!!!!. Did I say 3 things? not really, 4, sticky floors,5,poor staff, 6,1970`s chipboard furniture, 7,TV sits on a 1960`s so called mini bar but is an empty fridge. Turkey is a nice place there are many good trips to go on, we highly reccommend the european sea sports trip, the markets are good fun if you dont mind hassle. Whatever you do our advice is never ever ever stay at the hotel Pineta club or it`s sister hotel.
