This is really a hotel that is too scared to leave 1970s era. From the deco, furnitures, colour and ambiance, one cannot be wrong to guess this hotel traps in 1970s in 21st century.
Not many staff we met. At any time, there is only one person at the Reception. But the hotel was never busy, so, no problem.
Room - just ok. Nothing is great. Only one towel provided and they have no problem to give more if requested. The linen used was stained and I only found out about it the next morning. uckily it is only a one night stay. You can hear a sound from a TV next door.
Breakfast - Dont expect too much. It serves bread, butter and jam. No eggs. You need to pay extra for it. Drinks - only coffee or tea.
Parking - Quite easy. The hotel has few reserved parking. If it is full, you can park in front of the hotel and must leave the key with the reception.

The Hotel is not as it appears on many websites - it is tucked away in a fairly run-down area of Manama. The hotel itself is clean enough but the furnishings are somewhat sparse and the rooms appear quite tatty and in need of re-decorating. My booking included the "Continental" breakfast - not sure which continent this would have been breakfast for but it mainly consisted of warm toast and rubbery croissants washed down with orange juice and coffee when the waiter could be bothered to bring some. Certainly not a 3 star hotel as advertised (not by western standards anyhow). It's ok if you are only staying a few days (as i was) and you only need somewhere to rest your head for the night.
