Kingston Inn & Suites  - Pasadena, USA 

This hotel was previously the Kingston Inn & Suites but was re-branded as a Ramada. I didn't bother taking any photos of the place since the rooms look exactly like the photos available on the web. The people working there were all friendly. Free breakfast was available as promised but not memorable. Free internet access is also available via the two computers next to the front desk. The swimming pool/hot tub is not worth writing home about - just a tiny little pool of water gated off from the parking lot. Overall, it provides decent value for the price. The only item I think could use an upgrade would be the quality of the towels - they are definitely getting old & thin. On a side note - motorists driving cars (as opposed to SUVs & trucks) should enter the driveway on Colorado at an angle. The city of Pasadena has built up the roadway so much that the bottom of your car will scrape asphalt when entering & exiting the hotel parking lot.

My son and I were traveling to California on a road trip by ourselves. After reading the reviews on Travel advisor for the Ramada in Pasadena, I decided to book a room there based on the follow up comments from the management. I was impressed that they were taking the time to follow up and read what their guests had to say. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool was small, but clean and the water temperature felt great in the heat. The front staff was very friendly. Absolutely no complaints. I would recommend this hotel.
