Le Cygne d'Argent - Liege, Belgium     

The hotel is a basic 2-star hotel within walking distance to the train station and city center. The single room was very cramped but fairly clean. Breakfast is not included. Aside from the young oriental man at the front desk, the staff were not that friendly.

We stayed there last year, the rooms are clean and reasonable. There was a small lift which occasionally didn't want to work, which would be an issue for those with prams/kids or the less able bodied as the hotel rooms are up several flights of stairs. There is parking available, but it is not directly adjacent to the hotel and there is no guarenteed security - we had items stolen whilst we were there and the management of the hotel were less than concerned about this - which we were annoyed about as you pay extra for the car parking! There is no bar but you can have breakfast on site for an additional fee - plus there are plenty of bars about that you can get to within 5 minutes walk.
