At the last minute, we switched hotels (due to some bad feedback on the inital hotel by some Traveler Reviews) and we couldn't have been happier with our new choice! We have stayed in five star hotels that fail in comparison! If you prefer a clean, friendly hotel with very nice aminities, excellent value for dollar and a lovely room with space to spare-then this is the hotel for you. I was on business; however, brought the family and they loved it! From the expansive complementary hot breakfast, to the evening BBQ, "Make Your Own Sandwich Night" and sundowner, it was a great value. They even had breakfast-to-go which was perfect for my seminar! The rooms were very Euro-modern, yet comfortable, with a great layout: flat screen TV, Free DVD "rental" at the front desk, lovely kitchen area with granite countertops and all the supplies needed; comfortable couch with lovely wall art. There was even a theater room for the kids off the common room in the lobby and a basket ball court. The staff was wonderful from the front desk staff, to the housekeeping staff, to the kitchen staff - Marcello the manager was very helpful and accessible - always mingeling with the guest to ensure everything was satisfactory. We never had trouble getting directions or "local tips" for dining or shopping. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and very secure during all hours. The fitness room was fully stocked and the laundry facility was just adjacent to it, immaculate and FREE. Dollar for dollar this was by far the best hotel we have visited with the most friendly staff. We hope to return there for another stay!

We received 5 star treatment, kids loved it! I loved it! Security was great and the location was just perfect for us, privacy and seclusion in a big city. Even an Amusement Park close by for kids. One of the best stays I have had out of many trips. thank you Staybridge, we will be back.

Okay
Worked Great for Us

We had a 2-bedroom suite which worked well for our party of six. Although clearly catering to those traveling on business, we never felt uncomfortable with our young children. Walls were a little thin between rooms of our suite, but we never heard anything from another suite. All the staff were extremely helpful (especially Jenne), getting us directions and offering late night drinks while using the business computers, although it helped to be able to communicate in Spanish with the maids. The breakfast buffet was not as elaborate as a typical Embassy Suites and was prone to running out of certain items and table space around 7:30, but we never went hungry. One could make meals out of the evening reception, but they are only offered Monday through Thursday. The pool was too cold for all in our party except 2 of my kids, but the spa was nice and we always had it to ourselves. Be sure to check movie availability at the front desk (free) before paying to watch one ($14-16) from the TV menu. If you want to not eat at restaurants, there is a Super Wal-Mart and a fabulous upscale grocery (Central Market) within a quarter mile.
