Each of the rooms, ranging from a stylish single room to a spacious four-poster room, is decorated and furnished in an impressive, welcoming and relaxing fashion. Guests here often comment on the home away from home atmosphere, and it's those little extras that help to contribute to the ambience.The beds are comfortable with white cotton bed linen, vibrant throws and cushions. Some of the en suite bathrooms are new with stone floors and plush new shower units, others are slightly older, but all are clean and smart with aromatherapy toiletries, plump white towels and waffle-effect bathrobes. Some rooms are also equipped with a DVD and VCR players.

Have just spent a weekend at The Claremont. Great little hotel for a weekend break. Exceptionally clean. Had a single room which was fairly small, but had everything you needed. Quite a walk into Brighton main town, but a nice walk if weather is good. Staff extremley helpful and polite

We were in Brighton for a wedding and having booked a hotel and then reviewed tripadvisor we decided to change to The Claremont. We found the hotel great and met all our needs for the weekend, it is close enough to the city centre that one can walk but also far enough away that it is quiet and secluded
