Minotel San Giorgio - Venice, Italy 

This is a decent hotel for the budget-minded traveler. Rooms are nicely decorated and quiet (ours was at any rate). The location was ideal--close to San Marco and the waterbus. Breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was out of a machine, and one morning an attendant hovered over me as I served myself, making sure I didn't make any mistakes. The rest of the staff was quite helpful and friendly except for one young man named Nicola who was rather surly. I would recommend this hotel if price and location are your most important priorities.
