Sol - Toledo, Spain 

I was hesitant to book a two star hotel, but this place was my favorite hotel of our trip! What it lacked in amenities, it made up in charm. It is spotlessly clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The cheery yellow walls and beautiful mosaic tiles in the bathroom were very nice. And being on a side street, it was nice and quiet at night. The staff at the front desk was warm and friendly and very, very helpful at directing us to the things we wanted to see. Breakfast was decent, while coffee was excellent, and very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Sol suited our family of four very nicely. We enjoyed two nights in a simple but comfortable room on the ground floor. Our quad room overlooked a quiet, residential street. The room, with four beds all in a row, was simple but comfortable. Parking in their lot was a challenge and required some very precise driving. We did not have breakfast there but it seems perfectly nice. The staff was helpful, particularly on the morning we left and needed directions to reach our next destination. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but especially to families traveling on a budget.
