Husa Pyramids - Gizah, Egypt 

My experience in this hotel was OK, but it could be better.The room was not that clean but was ok. We asked to change the bed linen when we arrived and they done promptly. My friend reserved also a room he had a problem with air conditioning that was leaking. The view from the restaurant is the best, the prices were cheap, a pizza for 20 ?EP(+ tax), for such a view I was expecting to pay much more. Unfortunately the noise from the road (chaotic traffic) was very annoying.Try to get back rooms. The staff was helpful and efficient (room service very efficient). However we ordered a pizza with olives and cheese, no tomato sauce. After a long waiting time (45 minutes) they brought us a pizza with onions and peppers. We cancel the order with no problem. The service in the restaurant was a bit slow. Prepare yourself to wait!!!! The hotel is 20 minutes walking distance to the pyramids, but the way is a bit threatening. I will not do it again.You do not see any tourists walking on the street. The taxi would be 10 EP (just 1?), but we decided to walk. I would never classify the hotel as a 4 star hotel, but it says so. The breakfast was better than I expected. You can eat as much as you like, the coffee is not bad. There is an agency inside of the bulding that can arrange taxis.They are good, and have safe cars but no a/c.

We stayed at the Husa Pyramid Hotel for 4 nights..the staff were very helpful but the hotel was not what europeans would class as a four star hotel..the rooms really need a complete over haul and re-decorating. The view from the panorama bar on the 8th floor is very good and a nice place to sit in the sun with a drink. If you are looking for a basic hotel near the pyramids then i think this is the one..if you can cope with the crazy traffic as its on the main road.
