Sheraton Ottawa Hotel - Ottawa, Canada     

After coming in from a trip to Montreal, this hotel really brought our spirits up and it was better than the Montreal hotel. Location: Certainly a wonderful location, minutes away (walking) from Parliament Hill, Supreme Court, Rideau Canal, etc and more. Also easily accessible; didn't get lost from exiting the highway. Interior Decor: Wonderfully furnished, loved the beds, comfortable, nice, clean, everything is nice. Exterior: Exterior is a bit old but the interior renovations make up for it. Also the main concierge and first floor area is nice. The hotel was very clean overall. Valet: The valet parking was slow the first time we used it, but later it got faster. The trick is to come at non-peak times where everyone's checking in and out. About 2-3 persons at valet one time, maybe nighttime there's only 1. Elevators: Ahh, there were only 3 elevators serving about 18-19 floors, and one wasn't even working at the time we were there, so the elevators were a LONG wait. If you don't have that much patience it wouldn't be so good. Once we waited around 5-10 min. Pricing: Cheaper than we expected, great.

We stayed here as we had enough SPG points to pay for 2 nights. The location is great, walking distance to all the main sites of interest. The room was a nice size, and the bed was comfortable, but the decor is quite dated. The pool is also quite small, but was nice after a day's walking! Overall, if I was paying I probably wouldn't stay here again.
