This hotel was booked for us as by an excellent travel agency in B.A. (Ripio Turismo) as part of an travel itinerary throughout Argentina. We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast was very good, with lots of variety. All the staff was really helpful and friendly. My friend got sick during our stay there (she brought a cold with her from the U.S.), and the staff was very attentive, bringing her tea and checking on her while I was out. It was close enough to the shopping areas and dining, however away from all the noise and traffic of Ave.9 de Julio. There was also a very inexpensive laundery service and bank-owned ATM acorss the street, and a great parillada restaurant at the corner (El Establo). The hotel even let us leave some of our luggage there at no charge while we went to Iguazu and El Calafate. We were so grateful! The only con I can think of (and it is a very minor one) is that there were no irons available for guests to use. You either had to pay housekeeping to iron your clothes, or take it across the street to the laundermat (which is what I ended up doing); both of which are annoying if your clothes just need a quick ironing. But other than that, it was really a great stay. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for on two occasions in February and March 2008 after it was recommended to me by a friend. I wasn?t disappointed - on both occasions my room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. I was so impressed on my first stay that I rebooked it a month later when I returned to Buenos Aires. The first time my room was on the 10th floor and was bright and airy. My only slight quibble is that on my second visit I stayed on a lower floor, where the view was obscured by neighbouring buildings and was fairly dingy. But that?s par for the course in a city centre hotel and wouldn?t put me off staying again. I found the reception staff friendly and efficient (and English speaking), and was pleased to find free internet access on the ground floor. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was pretty good by South American standards, with lots of choice including fresh fruit. The hotel?s location is excellent - walking distance from the main sights including the port area, Recoleta etc, and just round the corner from Florida Street. And right opposite the hotel is an excellent laundry, so no need to waste your money on the hotel laundry service.
