Stayed here while at Penn on business - I found the staff very friendly and accommodating, the location excellent in University City and the room clean and comfortable. The bookstore is close by for browsing, and there are great restaurants. The entrance is basically in the "back" of the hotel from where you might expect it, and a second set of elevators or stairs are required to get to the "main floor" - this is a little inconvenient but a minor problem. The bathroom was well stocked and the towels were thick and nice.

If you are traveling to visit the University of Pennsylvania this is the perfect place to stay. The hotel is directly across the street from the heart of the University and gives you a great snapshot of Penn.
If you're visiting Penn and don't want to get a rental car, this hotel is very easy to access from the airport via public transportation (if you have bit of time). From the Airport you can take the R1 train to the 30th street station. From there you can go across the street and take a trolly to the 36th street station which is right next to the hotel. The total cost should be under $10.
This is my second time to stay at the hotel. The previous visit was during the hotel's renovation. The project is complete and the hotel looks very nice.
The rooms are a decent size, with very comfortable beds. The decor is at the upper end for a Hilton.
The bathrooms are standard size but had amazing water pressure. I was surprised how strong the pressure was for a hotel. The towels were plentiful but seemed a bit old.
The hotel had wifi internet access for a nominal charge. My room had a strong connection and the speed was adequate to get some work done.
The front desk staff was very helpful. They were able to give me good directions, and suggest a nice place to eat.
