1I don't want to even rate this hotel because it isn't even worth one little dot. Oh my god- what a hell hole! Nightmare. I would encourage nobody to book there. We arrived at the station after travelling from NYC only to be informed that this hotel had actually been shut down weeks earlier. I thought it was a joke at first, but when we arrived there by taxi (after driving through nightmarish, run-down neighbourhoods) we were told by a really rude man on reception that the hotel was closed for remodelling. No one had informed us and we booked through hotels.com months earlier, who I will never EVER use again. The staff we saw were incredibly rude and evaisive and we eventually found out that we had actually been relocated (thankfully) to another hotel miles away which was a Holiday Inn and so much nicer, otherwise our time spent there would have been spent fearing for our lives. We didn't see any prostitutes or drug dealers, but we were there in the daytime only. I dread to think how bad it would be at night and I truly didn't feel safe in that area.
This hotel is the worst I have ever seen, just from the general exterior and surrounding area alone. There are no amenities nearby other than a garage. Luckily I did not have the good fortune of actually entering any of the rooms. I pity those who did.
