Older but Nice; would stay again

We had a nice stay for our family vacation. The room was nice sized with tastefully appointed bedding. We enjoyed having a kitchen and a "powder" room. The staff was friendly - the bellmen/doormen more so than the front desk staff. Limited dining options in immediate vicinity, but just a few blocks up to George Washington University area for some meals. The location was very close to the bus line and near Lincoln Memorial. We would stay again.

After having a day of bad flights, it was relaxing in check in at the hotel. The room was spacious and just like being at home. I wish I had more time to spend there.

There was plenty of room and very clean. Beds were comfortable. We ate at the Bristo one night where the staff was friendly and the food was good.It was within walking distance to the sights as well as the Metro. We did miss not having a microwave as there was a kitchen but no oven or microwave to heat anything up if we brought it back to the room. It was one of the better hotels we stayed at compared to other trips and I would definately recommend it.

Confortable and spacy. The kitchen is great for breakfast and nibbles. Everyday we thanked the complimentary coffe and newspaper.

Hotel was spotless and service was outstanding. Highly recommend. Phenomenal bed and pillows. Highly walkable location from the Lincoln to the White House (and beyond if you can). Better restaurants are more located on the other side of the White House but the F Street bistro served very nice food.
