The hotel did not have the correct room based on my resveration available when we checked in so they agreed to upgrade us to a nice suite at no additional charge. We also heard very loud animal noises right outside our window in the middle of the night. The first night it got cold and the heater would never come on in the room. That night when we returned to the room I found that still no one had checked on the heater. The next morning it took forever for room service and then the order was wrong.. Read review

7/22/04-7/26/04) before her return to college, and selected the Washington Terrace based on the great reviews by former guests. Once we manuevered the directions given and found the hotel, the valet staff and the check-in process went smoothly, however, within a few moments of entering our room (after a 5 1/2 hour drive without stopping) we quickly discovered the commode was not working properly. We have had that problem with hotels before, so we did not unpack until we had the commode problem fixed and/or were transferred to another room. It took a 2nd phone call to inquire about the status of repair/transfer and almost an hour to resolve the problem.. Read review

The Washington Terrace Hotel was the one that accepted my offer of $65/nt. The rooms were well appointed with many amenities--plush bathrobe, chocolates, room service, internet access--and most importantly, it was very clean.. Read review
