  • It was raining the day I flew in, so it was especially nice to be able to get to the hotel via the Metro without ever having to get wet. Rooms were average sized and the bed was comfortable. I was given a room on the 11th floor (Gold Passport Floor) and my non-smoking king request was granted. However, the gym is very complete with a multitude of cardio machines, machine weights, and free weights, as well as an indoor pool.. Read review

  • My husband and I live in the area, but didn't want to risk driving outside of DC after drinking, so we booked a room. My biggest dissatisfaction came from the extremely loud heater/air conditioner. We liked the sports bar downstairs and most of all the atmosphere and location.. Read review

  • The room was fabulous, super clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. We're not accustomed to staying in business type hotels and really enjoyed the posh room. I mentioned that one of us was celebrating a big 60th birthday and was quite surprised when we came back to the room after a day of sightseeing to find a piece of thick, chocolate cake, decorated with "Happy B" in chocolate on the side of the plate, goblets, a bottle of bubbly in an ice bucket and a birthday card. He didn't know which one I had booked and was surprised when we arrived by Metro. The next morning we went down for the complimentary breakfast buffet. Of course, the "Birthday Boy' (also known as the one with a great fondness for food) loved it. Lucky for us, DC had Restaurant Week that week and we enjoyed TenPenh, DC Grill and Cordoroy.. • Excellent hotel, fine location, good staff and service, the food was fine, the sports bar was a great hagn out. The room was good, nice view, good working space and clean. The place didn't feel crowded even while it was full for conventions during my stay, the staff remained friendly and helpfull, and very nice.. Read review

  • I chose this hotel because I was meeting a relative there who had already booked a room. I was greeted wonderfully by hotel staff upon arrival, smooth valet service, beautiful lobby, over and above service at check-in, nicely appointed room, fresh, clean, nice variety breakfast buffet (included in my room rate), lovely ambiance while enjoying breakfast, super-efficient check-out, and reasonably priced, considering quality of accommodations and location. I particularly liked the room as it had extra amenities such as additional decorator pillows on bed, granite in bath, upgraded toiletries, and it was super clean. Also, because the room (which was on the 11th floor facing the pool) was so quiet, I could really get a good night's rest. I would say my only disappointment was the pool. Otherwise, towels were available and it appeared reasonably clean.. Read review
