This hotel is in PRIME location! If you walk outside and look down the street, you can see the White House very well. The service was very good, as check-in was a breeze and the concierge helped us with our every attraction. The room has great decor, such comfy beds, and modern electronics. The downsides were that the view from our room was of another person's room and the room was very small. However, I think this is a good place to stay in a great location!

Last month I attended the National Education Association conference as a delegate and we said at the Capital Hilton Washington D.C. I do not recommend staying here. If you planned on paying with you Debit or Credit Card, expect a hold of $75 each day you are staying there. We were told that we would not have a hold on our cards and then had to struggle with customer service to get the holds off again and again.I cannot explain to you how often we had to talk to the unhelpful managers and clear this situations up. Also, if you expected to use internet there is a charge. Same for the gym. There is no pool. PLEASE do not make your vacation stressful, and stay somewhere else that is not over priced and treats you like a customer.
