I stayed at the Park Hyatt for several nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff. Had a malfunctioning tv and they sent a fellow up within minutes and he fixed it. The front desk staff was very helpful in arranging a reservation for dinner.. Read review

That said, I have to respectfully dissent from the reviews that criticized the service and decor of this hotel. I live in DC and had a shabby one bedroom apartment and wanted someplace nice to stay. I wrote on the on-line reservation form that I needed a canister for champagne as I intended to propose that night. The front desk clerk immediately identified me by the roses. I was stunned that the hotel actually READ MY COMMENTS in the on line reservation form. The entire desk staff wished me luck and I was on my way to the room to prepare and drop off our bags. Before I left the area, the desk clerk stopped me and informed they had upgraded my room, and she was certain my girlfriend would be impressed.. Read review

Just came back from a Park Suite and all I can say is WOW! Exceptional experience from the wonderful, warm and friendly doorman, to all of the other staff and the magnificent suite. The suite cost us a mere 6,000 Hyatt points as an upgrade and was among the best values I have ever received. The suite included a living room with a large dining area, a study, bedroom and large bathroom. There were some silly design issues - the only closet was in the bathroom (! Just changed future reservations from other hotels so we can continue returning to this wonderful place.. Read review

We got the Park King Deluxe room- over 600 square feet- lots of room, the bathroom was great with the rainfall shower and soaking tub. The staff was beyond nice and so very helpful. This hotel is in a great location and a 5 minute walk to Georgetown- You can't go wrong with this luxury hotel!
Wonderful place to stay - the staff is great, very very helpful and the hotel is amazing! We stayed there with our 7 month old daughter and got a Park Deluxe Room - great room with kids- their space and our space! Their breakfasts are great, but over the top expensive unless you have a package. Good thing we had it included, and this was just a normal breakfast!
When the four of us travel together we always book two connecting rooms. The front desk explained that our children's room was ready but apologized that our room, we had booked a Park Deluxe King, was still occupied. We were happy to have a room to put our luggage into rather than just leave it in storage. The four of us piled into the kids' room, a Park Twin (with two twin beds), at 9:30 am and then proceeded out of the hotel to explore the city.
Regis and were rather disappointed in the location.
