0The room we had was beautiful. Small with no view, but we were there to visit family so no big deal. Checked in around 3:00 p.m. & left. Returned around 11:30 (1:30 a.m. "our time") so were tired. Upon turning down the bed saw what appeared to be blood or ketchup across the top edge of the sheet, then found an area about the size of a fist that had an unidentifiable mess on it on the corner of the sheet. The front desk immediately sent someone up to change the bed, but they were only going to change the top sheet. We insisted the entire bed linens be changed. My husband went to talk to the manager on duty and was told no one had been in our room (our point!) & then suggested that maybe the airconditioner leaked on the bed (it was a window unit 10-12 feet from the bed). She never once apologized for the inconvenience and insisted on seeing the sheets. We decided we didn't want to drink out of the glasses and had already filled the ice bucket. The next day we returned to our room to find water in the ice bucket, the same glass sitting on the dresser, and white residue on the unused glass. The 3rd evening of our stay we returned to find "residue" in the toilet that was not left by us. Again the ice bucket had not been emptied and the "fresh" washcloth I picked up had 2 black smudges on it. Other than those problems, the bed was extremely comfortable, had a huge walk-in closet and a wonderful flatscreen TV. Lobby was beautiful. Room Service staff was very pleasant. We were not willing to pay $* for breakfast, so only had coffee.
