Hotel Adagio address: 550 Geary St., San Francisco, 8250

Hotel Adagio details: Hotel Adagio is a luxury boutique hotel, located in the heart of San Francisco's Theater District and Union Square shopping and dining district.

One frequent guest of the Adagio said "if this hotel were an actor, it would be Harrison Ford on some mysterious and exotic adventure." Handsome and debonair - those are the kinds of words people use to describe this hotel.

Even the meaning of the word adagio suggests the gracefulness, ease, and a slightly foreign nature to this hotel. Close your eyes and let your senses appreciate the sweet aromatic spice of a scented candle or the Mediterranean lounge music that makes you feel like you're in Barcelona.

The Hotel Adagio in San Francisco, California features a fresh design that bridges its Spanish Colonial Revival architectural roots to a clean and contemporary design aesthetic. Located in the heart of San Francisco's theater, dining and shopping districts, our elegant Union Square hotel is the perfect destination for exploring whether you're visiting on business or pleasure. Uniquely San Franciscan and clearly Californian, this San Francisco hotel offers a pace and atmosphere that is luxuriant and aromatic.

This hotel has style and panache and the hotel restaurant with its Spanish Colonial style seems to be the hot property in San Francisco. All the glamorous people in the lobby at dinner, but you always feel as though you are the pampered guest here! Forgot my camera battery one day as I was renting a bike for the day and when I called the hotel, they offered to bring it to me. What personal service! Please forget the Hilton and Marriott unless you are a conventioneer and the hotel has been selected for you. This hotel has all the style of the much pricier Clift across the street, and little more low key and understated elegance than the brash Monaco nearby. The hotel restaurant's featured small plates were fantastic and the bartender was extremely helpful with selection of both food and cocktails as I was traveling solo. Please try the Adagio. You will not be disappointed!
