5This was a wonderful hotel! We stayed in the historical section of the hotel and it was beautiful. We were offered an upgrade to the more modern side of the hotel, but, were so glad we stayed where we were. Apparently, the hotel was rennovated and an older and newer hotel were joined together to make one hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and wonderfully historic. There is a busy bar and grill attached to the hotel, the Warf is about a $9.00 taxi drive away, and, the hotel is in the heart of San Francisco's shoping and art gallery district. There are little cafes and deli's everywhere you look and the gateway to China town is about 5 blocks away. I am definitely planning to visit this hotel again!
